Ministry Campaign Services

Biblical Basis

Our conviction is that raising money in the local church or ministry is best accomplished when based on clear Biblical perspective.  Ministry Campaign Services builds campaigns on the principles of I Chronicles 28 – 29, where we see the example of David raising resources for the building of the temple.

Clear Vision:

The campaign process must be based on a clear and compelling vision.  Our process begins by our helping church leaders clearly and concisely articulate the vision God has placed on their hearts.

Strong Prayer Focus:

David acknowledge that “The task is great . . .not for man but for the LORD God” (I Chronicles 29:1 NIV).  It is God who provides the resources needed by the local church.  He is able to take “loaves and fishes” and multiply them through the participation of many to meet the needs.  Because giving, often times sacrificially, is a matter of the heart, prayer and reliance on God must be a strong focus throughout the campaign process.

Leadership Commitment:

King David and his leaders first committed their contributions to the building of the temple.“The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord” (I Chronicles 29:9 NIV).  Then they invited the “rest of the people” to participate.  Likewise, we first invite Advance Commitments from the leaders of the church.  This encourages and motivates others to give as it shows the financial goal to be attainable.

Wide Participation:

The successful campaign is built on wide participation.  God uses equal sacrifice rather than equal size gifts (II Corinthians 8: 11-15).  When we give sacrificially to God we are demonstrating gratitude for all He has freely given us.  And God doesn’t want any family to miss out on the blessings of participating in a Kingdom expansion effort.

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.  In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. (I Tim. 6:18-19)
