“Without a vision, men parish” (ref . . . )

In order to move forward in the ministry that God calls each church to, it is important to be able to answer five key questions:

1. Who are we?  (Values)
2. Why do we exist?  (Mission)
3. Where are we going?  (Vision)
4. How will we get there?  (Strategic Plan)
5. When considering and planning a facility expansion one other question is critical: How will this facility facilitate the vision? The building is most importantly designed to meet the specific needs of the ministries the church is called to.  

Timing

Ministry Campaign Services staff are trained and available to facilitate leadership retreats at an appropriate level for your church.  These sessions can be focus on Vision Casting, Strategic Planning, or both.  These retreats may be accomplished in the early phase of the campaign if the purpose of the retreat is to fine tune that which already exists.  However, if significant material must be developed it is usually advised that this planning take place prior to the campaign launch.
